BALI: Seminyak & Canggu
Bali was a DREAM! If you ever get the chance to go…you must! 2 weeks in Bali was such an eye-opening, life changing experience that I so desperately needed post-graduation. It was a place that brought out the positivity and kindness amongst the four of us…. every corner you turned was absolutely stunning. It was this weird contrast between the poorest of the poor in a third world country, and some of the nicest resorts and places I have ever seen. We met the kindest souls while traveling both from the local people of Bali and other travelers. As we came across a lot of locals who were Hindu, everything surrounded the idea of Karma and the energy within the spirit.
There will always be a special place in my heart for the Balinese people who made us feel so comfortable and so at home while traveling.
We started our adventures in Seminyak, Bali (about a 30/40 minute taxi from the airport depending on where you are staying.) We stayed in the cutest and most cost-effective AirBnB super close to the beach. Seminyak and Canggu were very similar in their vibes….much more modern, beachy aesthetic, trendy restaurants, day clubs etc…
I uploaded some of the keepers <3
Snapshots from Seminyak
If you are in the Seminyak/Canggu area, you MUST go to Motel Mexicola. It was hands-down our favorite bar from the entire trip & we may have gone more than once….partly because they had the cheapest drinks ever.
Snapshots from Canggu
Things to do in Canggu…we had the best food, shopping was incredible, day/night clubs, beach days, happy-hours etc..
We stayed at the Jungalow in Canggu….it was made for Instagram. If you’re interested in staying here, let me know! I can send you the link for booking.
OMNIA Beach Club Bali
We had to see what the OMNIA in Bali was like because we are frequent visitors of the OMNIA in Vegas…the view was incredible, that was about it.
