Did you ever run track or have been in a race before and your coach would tell you to just Stay In Your Lane? To not look at what everyone is doing around you, to not look back or cross into other lanes but to actually just stay in your lane 100%?

Well my friends, that was your first life lesson. 

People have made some remarks and comments about this blog to me... about it being shallow, a waste of a time, stupid etc..etc... and to be frank, I really just don't give a damn. Why do we live in society where people care SO MUCH about what everyone else is doing and we can't all just stay in our own lane with the blinders on? 

Personally, this website is my outlet. It is my creative hole in the internet to voice my opinion. Why this is a concern to others, I simply do not understand. Maybe you have felt this way before with something like your degree, your job, your hobbies, your passions, where people have just given you sass and shade about doing what you want to do. But you know what, screw the norm and screw the haters, STAY in YOUR lane and do your thing. Do what lights a fire under you and don't look back, don't look around you at what everyone else is doing or saying. 

Your lane is the place where you can BE you, DO you, live out your life however your heart desires and no one can take that from you. So go ahead with your bad self and stay in that lane, do what you want.

  • Hurdle Podcast: Episode with Chinae Alexander (SO GOOD!) 
  • 48 Hours (ex. Murder in the Mansion) If you are into murder/crime highly recommend. 
  • The Mind Body Green Podcast: (food related, hormones, gut health) 
  • Conspiracy Theories: (I'm so weird I know, but these are really quite fascinating.)
